The Judges of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California have approved abrogating Civil Local Rule 77-3 as obsolete. The Court is in the process of formulating an updated policy regarding public access to remote proceedings post-pandemic. Existing limitations on recording or photographing in-person or remote court proceedings remain in place. See General Order 58, Section IV.
