Submitting Exhibits After Trial

Civil Local Rule 5-1(g) requires uploading of civil and criminal trial exhibits following verdict.

What can you submit here?

Do not submit exhibits in PDF form here; PDFs should be submitted via ECF on the docket. This page is designed for electronic submission of trial exhibits that cannot be uploaded to ECF, such as:

Audio Files: .mp3, .wav
Video Files: .mp4, .mov
Spreadsheets: .xls

What if parts of my exhibits are sealed?

Before submitting exhibits here, you must redact any information the judge ruled the public may not view. Follow the procedure in Civil Local Rule 79-5(d). If you have further questions, please email the judge’s courtroom deputy.

Requests and payment can be submitted by completing the USDC Northern District of California Digital Exhibits Payments Form.
